Brian Muniz hasn’t told Ingrid the details of how he became paralyzed. However, she brings up the topic during a car ride to her hometown. The TLC star tells her that he used to sell drugs for five years. He also tells her that he used to use drugs as well. He would even drink a case of beer a day with three grams of cocaine on the table. During that time, he met his second wife.
The 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days cast member explains that life for him as a dealer was exciting. However, his family didn’t approve of his lifestyle. So, he went three years without talking to his mother. But he was making more money than all his family members put together.
However, Brian eventually started looking at himself in the mirror and felt like a zombie. He got tired of the lifestyle and tried to leave it all behind.
