Are Kody And Robyn Brown Planning For More Kids?

Most reality TV lovers recognize Kody Brown and Robyn Brown from Sister Wives. The TLC show focuses on what it’s like to be part of a polygamist family. The 19th season of the show started off with a bang since Kody’s divorces from three of his wives were highlighted. Anyone who’s been watching the show for a while knows that his splits with Christine Brown, Meri Brown, and Janelle Brown aren’t exactly a shock. Now, he’s only married to Robyn in a monogamous union. Are they planning to have more kids at any point?

Kody And Robyn Brown Have Discussed Having More Kids

Having more kids is certainly something Kody and Robyn have talked about. Now that it’s just the two of them, they don’t necessarily have to consult with anyone else about expanding their family’s size. When Christine, Meri, and Janelle were still in the picture, these conversations looked different. As of now, Kody sounds super interested in having more kids. He told Us Weekly:

“That’s really up to [Robyn], but it’s always fun to sit here and fill my youth going, ‘I can have kids if I want to.’ I do that to my adult children sometimes. It’s not cool to Robyn. She’s like, ‘Oh, this jerk is doing it again.’ And I’m like, ‘I can have more kids if I want to. I might have kids younger than your kids,’ stuff like that. It’s more, like, a dumb thing where I’m just challenging the kids and I’m teasing them. Personally, I think it’s up to Robyn, but whenever I ask her, she always goes, ‘Well, it’s up to us. We make this decision together.’”

Robyn and Kody currently have five kids: Three from Robyn’s last marriage and two they biologically share together. The three kids Robyn had with her ex-husband are David ‘Dayton’ Preston, Aurora Alice, and Breanna Rose. Robyn and Kody‘s biological kids are Solomon Kody and Ariella May. Ariella is the youngest, born in 2016.

As of this publication, Kody is 55 years old and Robyn is 45 years old. While some might argue she’s too old to go through another pregnancy, tons of famous women have successfully handled pregnancy journeys at older ages. Hillary Swank, for example, gave birth to twins when she was 48 years old. Laura Linney welcomed a son in 2014 when she was 49 years old.

Janet Jackson gave birth to her first child when she was 50. Robyn and Kody haven’t confirmed whether or not they’re serious about expanding their family, but this is definitely a topic they’re likely to cover on episodes of Sister Wives.
