Days of Our Lives Thursday, October 3 Recap: Kristen Trades Sarah’s Cure for Brady’s Freedom – Holly’s Plane Ticket to Paris

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, October 3, reveals that after Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) stomped away from her confrontation with Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Sophia Choi (Madelyn Kientz), Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) found her crying outside the pub.

Holly admitted she broke up with Tate and insisted it was all Eric’s fault, which confused him. After Holly rehashed how Tate was defending Eric and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), Eric tried to offer support and pushed her to go see Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker).

It took some convincing, but Holly finally relented on letting Eric buy her a plane ticket so she could visit Nicole. Holly said there was nothing keeping her in Salem anyway, so she agreed on a trip to Paris.

In the park, Sophia claimed Holly hit her because she confessed that she still had feelings for Tate. After Sophia acted like she wanted everything out in the open between them, Tate appreciated that.

Sophia wound up planting a kiss on Tate, who got flustered and said he wasn’t ready to move on. However, Tate assured Sophia that things were still cool between them and vowed to text her later.

Once Tate walked away on Thursday’s Days episode, Sophia smirked like she was happy with how everything had gone down.

In Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) office, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) caught him holding the gun he planned to use on Brady if the justice system didn’t work fast.

Although Maggie was horrified at the sight of it, Xander acted like it was just for protection since he was Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) wealthy new heir.

Maggie lectured Xander about his revenge obsession and pushed him to focus on supporting Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) instead of making Brady pay. Now that Brady was locked up, Xander relented and acted like he’d back off.

At the Salem PD on Thursday’s Days episode, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) grew concerned when Brady hinted about Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) determination to get him out of his current mess.

Although Marlena wondered if Kristen’s plan involved something illegal, Brady suggested it was best if she didn’t know the details and said he tried to shut Kristen down. Talk ultimately turned to Kristen’s lingering love for Brady, so Marlena fished for how Brady felt in return.

Brady wished he could say that Kristen’s love meant nothing, but he couldn’t say that on Thursday’s DOOL show. There was always this pull to Kristen, who was an addiction in Brady’s mind.

Brady just couldn’t go cold turkey since he’d be forever connected to Kristen through Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater). That said, Brady insisted he wasn’t in danger of falling off the wagon.

Besides, Brady assumed he was going to prison anyway, so he didn’t think he’d have a love life anymore. Marlena gave Brady a pep talk since there was no guarantee he’d do time at Statesville and assured Brady of his family’s love.

At the DiMera mansion on Thursday’s Days episode, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) acknowledged that he was wanted for a long list of crimes, but he had a delivery to make in person.

Since Kristen had asked Dr. Rolf to come up with new scientific innovations to make DiMera Enterprises money, Dr. Rolf had an amazing breakthrough to share.

Kristen eventually got updates on a new serum with regenerative properties that could help grow organs back and repair all kinds of damage to the human body.

Once Kristen asked if could help with a spinal cord injury, Dr. Rolf thought it was possible if he reengineered the formula a bit. It didn’t take long for Kristen to head to Xander’s office and fill him in on this serum that could potentially help Sarah.

Xander was thrilled at the thought of Sarah walking again, but Kristen hinted about asking one teeny-tiny favor in return. When Xander asked what it was, Kristen made it clear that she expected Brady to go free.
