Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Should Body & Soul Get Canceled – Fake Soap Eating Up Too Much Salem Airtime?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that the show arguably has a big problem thanks to the whole soap-within-a-soap situation. Body & Soul is a fake daytime drama, but it’s creating a very real issue that’s only getting worse!

When Body & Soul was first introduced, it was honestly pretty cute. Abe Carver (James Reynolds) watched tapes of it while he was suffering from amnesia and living with Nurse Whitley King (Kim Coles).

Body & Soul seemed like a fun little gimmick that would be gone just as quickly as it came.

However, Days ultimately introduced this idea of the soap getting canceled and then saved with Abe and Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) at the helm.

Although Body & Soul is just now ready to begin filming under the new leadership, many fans are already over it!

There’s arguably way too much Body & Soul material at this point, so plenty of Days viewers are hoping it gets canceled all over again.

The whole storyline feels a bit too silly to be playing out long-term.

We get that Days has a lighter tone than The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and the Restless and General Hospital, but DOOL’s really going overboard with the comical content.

At some point, maybe there’ll be some scandal behind the scenes that Body & Soul will be unable to overcome.

There’ll have to be some way for this story to wrap up down the road, so Body & Soul may crash and burn in the end.

Then again, maybe Abe and Kate will simply sell the rights so that someone else can take Body & Soul elsewhere.

Perhaps production will be moved after Kate and Abe get fed up enough to want out of the soap business altogether.

Regardless, it seems like a lot of viewers are looking forward to whenever Body & Soul becomes a thing of the past.

It’ll be nice to get back to devoting more time to the usual drama in Salem instead of all faux soap chaos.
