His fans may be missing him on The Bold and the Beautiful but soon they’ll be able to watch Darin Brooks (ex-Wyatt) in a whole new role — and it’s promised to bring the laughs. The former daytime star posted a photo with the cast and we can bet that you’ll recognize a few of the Hollywood faces…

“Man… Last day of filming with all these incredibly talented, legendary, crazy ass kids!” Brooks stated. “We seriously laughed our friggin asses off, all day every day, and I couldn’t think of a better group of people to work with! Can’t wait for this hilariously funny film to come out! Coming soon!”

The pic teased Brooks’ role as Rickey Rhodes and featured part of the cast including One Tree Hill’s Antwon Tanner (Skills), All My Children and Guiding Light alum John Fiore (Hendricks; Salerno), American Pie’s Eddie Kaye Thomas (Finch) and more…

The Roaring Game, as described by our sister site Deadline, surrounds Brooks’ character Rickey, a high school custodian, who can’t face the fact that his girlfriend will be leaving him to play hockey for Team USA. Wanting to win her back, he assembles a misfit curling team and heads off to the World Games to compete for the gold. Filming went on for three weeks in Rhode Island and the project also stars Mickey Rourke and William Forsythe and viewers will get to see a special guest star… former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers Rob Gronkowski.

Prior to its wrap, Brooks shared other photos from behind the scenes, including this fun one with the guys from One Tree Hill and American Pie. “When Alex Moran, Skills and Finch collide!”

And to close out his latest gig, here’s another where Brooks announced, “And that’s a wrap.”

Keep an eye out for the film’s release in 2025.
