General Hospital Monday, July 8 Update: Nina’s Invitation Riles Tracy – Cody Confesses – Portia Blasts Laura
General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, July 8, reveals that Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) will make a speech as he officially kicks off his campaign, but Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) won’t be happy when Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) joins the party.
Tracy will wonder who invited Nina, so Drew may admit that he did and point out that Nina’s actually been quite helpful.
Since it looks like Nina will be doing some PR work for Drew’s campaign moving forward, Drew may urge Tracy to dial down her outrage.
However, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will have some issues with Drew and the possibility of him using Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) as a political pawn.
Since Drew’s making his campaign announcement at the Quartermaine picnic, Sam may try to avoid raining on his parade too much.
We’ll see Sam step outside for some air, so Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will follow as she hides out from the other partygoers.
In a moment alone with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), James West (Gary James Fuller) will ask for his approval on something.
There’ll be a heartfelt scene where James tugs at Cody’s heartstrings and potentially convinces Cody it’s time to get honest.
GH spoilers say Cody will make an admission in Monday’s episode, so will Mac Scorpio (John J. York) finally learn that Cody is his biological son? Whether that news comes out now or later, Cody has to come clean at some point.
As for Laura Collins (Genie Francis), she’ll face questions and concerns about her attempt to get Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) case reopened.
Laura will insist she’s trusting the experts to guide her on this, but Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will still lash out at her.
The last thing Portia wants is for Heather to walk free, so she’ll continue to worry about that possibility and will blast Laura for helping her.
Next, Nina will have a private discussion with Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson), so it looks like she’ll admit she’s been hooking up with Drew behind closed doors.
Nina may talk about their quid pro quo and how Drew’s been helping her win over Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) as well.
Sasha will have a bad feeling about all this, so she’ll try to warn Nina about the catastrophic outcome.
Finally, General Hospital spoilers say Willow will make a move that’s impulsive and could give fans a shock.
Will Willow do something truly wild like plant a kiss on Drew or could this involve a grand Nina gesture instead?
