The Bold and the Beautiful Thursday, August 1 Recap: Will Rejects New Family & Storms Out – Hope’s Plan Backfires
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, August 1, reveals that Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) plan didn’t turn out the way she expected. Although Hope was pleased over Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) missing her flight due to her forgotten passport, that also gave Steffy time to focus on business.
Of course, Steffy immediately tried to put Hope for the Future on the chopping block and urged Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) to back her up about the failing numbers.
However, Hope once again pushed for more time and felt that Steffy was turning this into a personal attack.
As Hope defended her line and how much it meant to her, she refused to let Steffy destroy it.
In the design office, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) called Katie Logan (Heather Tom) out for making wild accusations against Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park), so RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) heard the news and insisted Poppy wasn’t a psychotic murderer.
Luna implied that Katie was jealous of Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) new family, but Katie denied that and insisted she was just concerned.
Once Luna left, RJ encouraged Katie to let go of her suspicions and accept that Bill’s new family was a good thing.
At Bill’s mansion, he threw a shirt on and realized Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) was the bedroom intruder.
Will seemed embarrassed as he bolted back downstairs, where Bill eventually joined him and expressed how happy he was to see his son.
After Will got confirmation that the woman upstairs was Poppy, he wondered if his mom was out of the picture now. Will was ready to take off, but then Poppy came down to meet him.
That brought some awkwardness, but things were even more uncomfortable once Luna walked in and referred to Bill as “Dad.”
Bill introduced Will to his sister and thought maybe they could hug, but Will didn’t think they were ready for that.
After Will said he’d go stay with Katie, Poppy offered to stay at her old apartment with Luna since they didn’t want Will to feel uncomfortable.
Bill piped up about how he wanted them all to get to know each other and said he raised Will to be respectful.
Will finally snapped that he wasn’t part of this and said Bill hooked up with Poppy like 100 years ago.
Now Bill was expecting Will to embrace this new family, but Will offered up a “hell no” on that and stormed out.
