Bold and the Beautiful: Luna’s Unsavory Backstory Unfolds – Why Poppy Followed Her to LA?

Bold and the Beautiful started Luna Nozawa out on a strange note from the get-go, as her mother, Poppy Nozawa, became mortified when she heard she was in LA and working at Forrester Creations on the CBS soap.

It seemed strange at the time for her mother to be so worried. But then it all seemed to fall into place randomly for Luna. Then life seemed good at her new internship. But, what if it wasn’t all that random?

Bold and the Beautiful: Luna Nozawa Did Her Homework

Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) showed up at Forrester Creations as an intern. Through her phone calls with her mother, Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park), Bold and the Beautiful fans learned a few things.

There had to be a reason that Poppy was petrified for her daughter to be near the Forrester family. At first, Luna Nozawa only let her mom know she was in LA. But, when Poppy learned about her internship, the mother on the other end of this intern’s phone became frazzled.

Poppy Nozawa begged her daughter to come home. But, when she realized that her daughter planned to stay, Poppy immediately moved to LA.

And, if you remember, Luna knew a lot about the Forresters when first entering the internship position. The same holds for Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). She told her mother about him on Bold and Beautiful when he first approached them at Il Giardino.

B&B Spoilers: Poppy Nozawa Pulls Up Stakes

Luna’s involvement with the Forrester Family seemed to fuel her mother’s need to come to LA to be with her daughter. So, why did she try to shield her daughter from the Forrester family? Or did she try to shield the Forresters from her daughter?

Maybe it wasn’t the Forresters themselves, but their riches that drew Luna Nozawa towards them. And maybe Poppy worried that her daughter would be drawn to the Forrester’s wealth on Bold and Beautiful. But, according to her sister, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), Poppy is the gold-digger of the family, or is she?

Luna Nozawa’s cousin Finn married into the Forrester family, but that still didn’t warrant the extent of Poppy’s worries. She got to the point that she pulled up stakes and moved to be near her daughter.

Once the paternity question came into play, a theory emerged. Many fans assumed John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) or his dad, Jack Finnegan (Ted King) could be Luna Nozawa’s father.

And because of this secret, one Bold and the Beautiful fan theory suggests her mother needed her to stay away from the Forresters. But maybe it’s something else. Maybe Poppy hid her worries about her daughter repeating something awful from her past.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Luna Hides Whopping Backstory?

When Luna and her mother talked about Tom Starr’s (Clint Howard) backpack and how they needed to trust each other, Poppy said something odd. She said they had been through things in the past and would get through this like before.

The Forrester intern questioned her mom a few times. She suspected her mother might have killed Tom. You would think she wouldn’t even ask her mother if she didn’t believe she was capable of such an evil deed. But Bold and the Beautiful hints at things in the past for this mother-daughter duo.

Fans say that kiss Luna Nozawa suddenly planted on Bill was creepy. But Bold and the Beautiful made light of it. Bill was willing to dismiss it after telling Luna that this could never happen again. But there’s likely more to Luna than meets the eye, and we are likely just seeing the real disturbed woman surfacing.

B&B Spoilers: Hints Drop with Luna’s Waterworks?

Luna Nozawa went from seductress back to a sobbing child after that kiss she tried on Bill Spencer. Bold and Beautiful fans debate if she’s putting on an act as someone to be pitied after Bill didn’t bite. The publishing tycoon told her that she could remain living at his estate.

Some B&B fans suggest he may wake up one night and find her beside him in bed. For Luna to do an instant 180-degree turn and then quickly do damage control when it didn’t take, suggests she’s had some practice.

Poppy’s urgency to move to LA after her phone calls also suggest she needed to keep an eye on her. So, hints drop that maybe it’s not Poppy, but Luna, who isn’t all she’s cracked up to be.

With Luna Nozawa having a motive in the two unsolved murders, only time will tell. But B&B fans bet the farm that Bill soon faces a sting from his daughter-turned-houseguest on the CBS soap.
