Robyn Brown tells her story in a nutshell, she wanted a marriage that included having sister wives. Back in the day, Kody Brown was easy on the eyes, which likely became an extra perk for the woman about to become the fourth wife from the Sister Wives family.
At the top of her bucket list, she imagined five rocking chairs lined up along a front porch. In the imagined chairs, Robyn, as an old woman, rocked alongside the women she would age gracefully with. These were the women she called her sister wives.
Today, that image dwindles to one chair, creating a problem for Robyn. After the other women finally got off their rockers and found independent lives away from Kody Brown, she’d be rocking alone in old age.

Paedon Brown, son of Kody and Christine Brown, summed it up for the Sister Wives followers. He described Robyn’s goal in one sentence. He saw Robyn Brown as a woman with three kids looking for a man to take care of her and her children. Then Kody crossed her path.
From what Robyn said about her first marriage, she didn’t bother with her husband too much. Some fans think that Robyn couldn’t handle a 24/7 husband, which is what her first marriage offered her. She often said on the show that she always wanted a polygamous marriage.
So, in the beginning, Robyn got a nice house and a new car. Plus, this family supplied her with everything she needed. This included paying her bills out of their household cookie jar.
This must have looked pretty good for a woman who had to borrow gas money to make a few-hour road trip to meet the original Sister Wives family before she became part of it.
Sister Wives: What She Didn’t Gain?
When Robyn Brown first married Kody Brown, she had to be his wife in a four-day rotation. So, for three days, she was that same old single mother raising her three kids. But, she had everything handed to her. That struggle was over.
Then, when that fourth day rolled around, Robyn the wife emerged. But it was only for 24 hours. Then she went back to the life of a single mom again. Ironically, Christine Brown longed for more time with Kody Brown, although Robyn Brown said she was fine with how things were, every four days.
But as the Sister Wives seasons rolled along, Robyn Brown got most of his time. Unfortunately for her, the man she married became so head-over-heals about her and only her, that he eventually drove the other three wives away.
Robyn Sliding Out?
The Sister Wives promo clip has Robyn telling Kody she’s losing respect for him. That is about how she worded her feelings for her first husband when describing why she left him. This is what she previously suggested on the Sister Wives show.
Robyn Brown made it clear that she didn’t want Kody all to herself from the get-go. But despite her opposition, Kody was like a cling-on to his youngest wife. What she wanted might come through in Paedon’s theory.
So, if you look at how Paedon painted this portrait, Robyn Brown needed a nest feathered for her and her kids. And, she found one when she became Kody’s wife.
Now she is legally married to Kody, which likely means a nice piece of the pie for her if she divorced him. So, years ago, the Sister Wives fans watched as she came into the family. Viewers described Robyn Brown slithering in with her suggestions that she could fix the animosity she felt coming from the other wives toward her. But that never happened.
In the previews, she starts the conversation, which seems to lay the foundation for her to slither out of the Sister Wives family. She’s losing respect for her husband. Plus, she’s lost her co-wives. But some fans think the other wives only stood as the calendar days for her when she didn’t have to be a wife.
Sister Wives: Slowly and Methodically – The Way to Go?
So, today Robyn Brown has a full-time husband, which she never wanted. She has no sister wives, which she says she longed for. And, her days of being destitute are over. The one thing Kody Brown fixed for her is to provide her with a lavish life.
So, compared to where she came from, she’s got it made. Fans of the Sister Wives series see wife number four paving the way to slide out the way she slid in. She seemed to handle her entrance into the family slowly and methodically.
In Season 19 previews, the fans see hints of the same thing. Only instead of in, she seems to point to the way out. But they say they also see her taking much more with her than she first came in with on this TLC series.
