The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy’s Forgiveness Decision – Must Choose Chelsea Breakup or New Chapter

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will have a lot to think about now that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has confirmed his worst fear.

Deep down, Billy knew there was a good possibility that Chelsea hooked up with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), but he didn’t let himself fully believe it until she confessed.

Once Chelsea spilled everything, Billy admitted he felt numb and wasn’t sure what emotions would follow.

There was obviously some anger since Billy yelled in the park shortly after Chelsea’s admission.

Billy will unleash his wrath on Adam during the week of August 26-30, so that’ll serve as another way to get some of that rage out.

Since Billy will be busy blowing up at Adam and opening Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) eyes to the truth, he’ll be distracted for a while.

However, Billy won’t be able to avoid Chelsea forever, especially since she’ll be eager to deliver another heartfelt apology along with a plea to move forward together.

Chelsea will beg Billy to forgive her one-time mistake and let her rebuild the trust between them.

Will Billy break up with Chelsea or agree to kick off a new chapter? It won’t be an easy decision to make under the circumstances.

Billy knows Chelsea has dealt with her fair share of mental health struggles, so he won’t want to send her spinning out.

Since the hookup happened partly because of Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) issues, that’ll be a factor as well.

Of course, Billy may mostly hold Adam at fault for pouncing on Chelsea while she was vulnerable.

That doesn’t mean Chelsea isn’t responsible for her own actions, but Billy may still blame Adam more for what went down.

On the other hand, Y&R fans know this isn’t Chelsea and Adam’s first rodeo when it comes to cheating together.

Billy once dumped Chelsea at the altar because of her betrayal with Adam when he was posing as Gabriel Bingham.

Perhaps Billy will wonder how many times he can stand by and watch Chelsea drift back toward her ex.
