General Hospital’s Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has had it pretty easy when it comes to parenting Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn). Jason was there all of five minutes when Danny first came home as a baby before he disappeared for five years.
Jason barely came back into his son’s life only to quickly disappear and was presumed dead again. Now Jason is about to face single fatherhood, can he handle being a full time dad to his son?

General Hospital’s Sam has been one of the only constants in Danny’s life. Sam has raised Danny since he was four months old, except for the time she was in prison for killing Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).
Sam was there to help Danny through cancer. Sam helped Danny through losing his father a second time. Sam has been Danny’s rock.
Danny still looks up to Jason no matter how long he has been gone. Danny loves his father and wants to be near him. Sam doesn’t want Danny with his father because she is afraid he will get hurt. Jason even had Danny lie to Sam about helping him one night.
Sam was furious with Jason when she thought he shot Dante as well. Sam wanted Jason to pay until she realized the truth.

Danny doesn’t know half of the dangerous stuff his mother has done in her time, but Jason does.
Jason has seen Sam through losing her daughter, surviving being shot in the back, being caught in an explosion, etc. Jason may have trouble comprehending that Sam could actually die at some point and leave their son.
Danny will be stunned to see his mom disappear as well. Danny is used to it with his father, but he mom has never been in that much danger since he has been old enough to remember.
How will Danny process his mother’s death? Will Danny pull closer to his father or could he blame him for Sam’s death.

Jason had plenty of practice at being a father when Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was growing up. Jason was more of a parent to him than anyone.
However, that is different than having the job full time and taking responsibility for his child. Is Jason ready to be with his son and see to his needs permanently?
Jason could certainly move into the Quartermaine’s when Sam dies. Danny is familiar with everything there and Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleston) would be thrilled to have them.
Will Jason and Danny move into their own place and build a life together as father and son? How will the enforcer handle being a full time dad?
