Days of Our Lives Spoilers Wednesday, September 4 Recap: ‘Abby’ Is Mark’s Sister – Gabi Says EJ Better in Bed Than Stefan

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, September 4, reveals that fake Abigail DiMera (AnnaLynne McCord) covered after realizing Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) overheard part of her phone conversation. “Abby” acted like she was just going over the next steps of her treatment plan with Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans).

After Stephanie introduced herself as Abigail’s cousin, she pointed out that Kayla was her mom.

Stephanie also assured “Abby” that she was just friends with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) now and that he never truly let go of Abigail.

Once Stephanie took a trip down memory lane, “Abigail” was sorry she couldn’t remember their friendship.

Stephanie offered to let “Abigail” move in with her, but “Abby” turned her down and insisted she was fine at the DiMera mansion.

At Stephanie’s place, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) got an assist from Kayla after hitting some snags while fixing the garbage disposal.

Once talk turned to “Abigail,” Kayla said Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain) was struggling since she was the only one who couldn’t accept that it was really Abby.

Steve acknowledged that DNA tests had been wrong on multiple occasions at University Hospital, but Kayla insisted she took the swab herself.

Dr. Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) wasn’t the only other person involved – and Kayla trusted him completely.

After Stephanie came home on Wednesday’s Days episode, she mentioned “Abigail” talking to Kayla on the phone earlier.

Kayla insisted she hadn’t spoken to “Abigail” today, so Stephanie wondered why “Abby” would say that.

Steve looked suspicious over the news – like maybe he was starting to suspect “Abigail” was keeping secrets!

In the town square on Wednesday’s DOOL show, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) told Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) about his new writing job at Body and Soul.

Once Leo admitted he was leaving the paper, he also hinted about a new storyline based on the “Abigail” situation.

Chad argued that there was no suspense since the DNA results proved the mystery woman was the real deal, but Leo argued that DNA results weren’t worth anything on soaps.

The conversation shifted to Leo’s love life, so he mentioned his crush on Mark and his disappointment that the doc seemingly wasn’t gay.

Leo gave Chad updates on the phone call he overheard and how Mark said he was talking to his girlfriend.

At the hospital, Mark wasn’t happy about Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) posing as Tate Black (Leo Howard) at lacrosse camp, but he knew his brother was a good kid at heart.

Aaron assumed that Mark the valedictorian and Eagle Scout never made any bad decisions at his age, but Mark said Aaron would be surprised.

Although Aaron couldn’t make any kind of prediction on the mistakes Mark might’ve made, Mark remained vague.

There was also some talk about Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) landing in jail over the hit-and-run accident, so Mark expressed concern for Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey).

Aaron knew this had to be bringing up difficult memories for Mark regarding their parents’ car crash, too.

Next on Wednesday’s Days episode, Mark met back up with “Abigail” in the park, where she said Stephanie was sweet and suggested duping all these relatives was becoming a lot to handle.

Mark hugged “Abigail” and insisted her real family was there for her, so she thanked her “bro” – and he referred to her as “sis” as well.

At the DiMera mansion on Wednesday’s Days episode, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) saw Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Cherie Jimenez) clothes on the floor and got confirmation that his robe-wearing wife had slept with shirtless EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).

Stefan delivered a blow to EJ’s lip, so Gabi had play referee when EJ nearly fought back.

Although Stefan assumed EJ took advantage of vulnerable Gabi, she admitted that she seduced EJ as part of a revenge plot.

While EJ went to get ice for his lip downstairs, Stefan fumed over Gabi blowing apart their marriage in such a cold, premeditated way.

This was something Gabi could never take back, so Stefan was done fighting for their relationship.

Both Gabi and Stefan had tears in their eyes as they clashed over their betrayals.

Gabi confessed that she woke up with regrets and considered deceiving Stefan, but she was glad the truth came out since lying would’ve made her just as guilty as him.

As EJ reentered the bedroom, Gabi insisted Stefan’s brother was better in bed than him.

EJ seemed rather amused as Stefan stomped off, but Gabi looked devastated over everything that had played out.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Stefan and Gabi will inevitably reunite sooner or later, but it’ll take some real time and effort before that happens!
