B&B’s Tanner Novlan Hints at Big Drama Ahead!
Finn’s life on The Bold and the Beautiful has gone off the rails as he juggles more drama than ever! The character has been under immense pressure because life has been throwing curveballs. First, he struggles to keep his marriage with Steffy from falling apart. Next, Finn’s mum, Sheila, brought in more chaos, and Hope kissing him complicated things. Recently, Tanner Novlan teased some intriguing possibilities about Finn’s future and what’s on the horizon. Read on to catch the whole tea!
Tanner Teases Major Plot Shock!
In the recent The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Li (Naomi Matsuda) pushed Finn to talk to Luna about her father. Luna (Lisa Yamada) has kept her lips sealed as she seemed unsure of his identity. Moreover, it made fans wonder if Finn could be the man in question. It’s not a possibility that can be completely ruled out.
After all, the B&B actor is in his late 30s, so Finn might have fathered Luna when he was just eighteen. It’s also a fact that Luna’s mother, Poppy, is Finn’s aunt, though only through adoption. Undoubtedly, it can make things awkward, but Finn can still be Luna’s dad. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Novlan addresses whether Finn could be Luna’s father.
He responded, “You never know!” neither confirming nor denying the possibility. However, he seemed excited about the idea. Why? Tanner believes Finn isn’t tied up by a long, established backstory like some of the legacy characters on the CBS soap. Additionally, it gives the writers plenty of freedom to introduce unexpected twists to Finn’s history.
These twists don’t have to conflict with previous storylines. Novlan also appreciated B&B writers for exploring different aspects of Finn’s past. “Anytime they do that, we always find a treasure of riches.” He added, “I’m really grateful and excited for what writers come up for [him] constantly…for food in the future.” Furthermore, Tom was declared Luna’s biological father.
However, no DNA test has been done to prove this, leaving room for speculation. Interestingly, Li certainly seems to know more than she’s letting on.
