Bold & Beautiful’s Sean Kanan Recovering From Surgery: ‘My Biggest Issue Right Now Is… ’

We wanted to take a moment today to send The Bold and the Beautiful’s Sean Kanan (Deacon) some good vibes and well wishes as he recovers from surgery. The CBS soap star posted a video on Instagram to let his followers know that he had a procedure done on his rotator cuff and to thank his “amazing team.”
In the video, Kanan appears to be in his home office wearing a sling to keep his shoulder in the correct position for healing at the moment.
“I came out of surgery and the surgeon told me it went really well,” he explained then went on to say, “We gotta wait and see but I just wanted to thank all of you for your messages and your support. It means the world to me.”
All seriousness aside, Kanan felt good enough to crack a joke about his recovery and the part his wife Michele is playing in it and stated, “Seems like my biggest issue right now is fighting with my wife about not jumping back into work right now and getting things done.”
We have to agree, that’s a valid point…
“They gave me a nerve blocker so let’s see what a tough guy I am once that wears off but honestly right now I feel really good,” Kanan expressed while also making it clear that he’s eager to start physical therapy and get on the road to healing his rotator cuff. “It just means the world to me that everyone’s been so kind and so supportive,” he repeated. “Thanks a lot.”
Again, we hope the actor’s road to recovery is a short one and we look forward to seeing what’s next for Deacon in 2024.
