The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Friday, June 14 – Hope Wakes Up Rattled After Finn Dream – Brooke Objects to Steffy’s Ban
The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Friday, June 14, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) pushed Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) to admit it was strange for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) to be spending so much time with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Brooke didn’t see what was wrong with it since Hope and Finn were friends, but Steffy acted like there was more going on and left Brooke on edge. However, Steffy was mostly concerned about the fact that Hope’s dad was married to Finn’s birth mother.
Steffy wasn’t comfortable with Hope influencing Finn when it came to Sheila Sharpe (Kimberlin Brown), but Brooke zoned out for a moment and flashed back to confronting Hope about her feelings for Finn.
Once Brooke snapped back to reality, she suggested Steffy was overreacting by trying to ban Finn and Hope from being friendly. Steffy argued if Brooke wanted to be friends with Finn, that was fine – but not Hope.
Since Hope was acting like Sheila had changed, Steffy didn’t want to wait around for something terrible to happen. Brooke didn’t know what Steffy expected her to do, but Steffy insisted Brooke needed to try talking some sense into her daughter.
After Steffy stomped off, Brooke muttered about how she was trying and suggested it was more complicated than Steffy thought.
At the cabin on Friday’s B&B episode, Hope hugged Finn and thanked him for all his help with Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) since he was a miracle worker in her eyes. Once Finn took off, he returned for his phone soon after.
That gave Hope a chance to confess how much of an impact Finn had on her life – much more than helping with Beth or her migraines. Hope thanked Finn for showing her how a man should be and rattled off all his wonderful qualities.
Although Hope knew she shouldn’t, she said she couldn’t stop thinking about Finn. Hope insisted she couldn’t stop dreaming about Finn or wanting him either, so she begged him to say he felt that way, too.
That led to a make-out session before Hope ripped Finn’s shirt open. Just before Hope and Finn could fall back on the sofa together, Hope woke up and realized she’d been dreaming up all that Finn sizzling.
Hope looked unsettled as she asked herself what she was doing and said this was wrong.
“I can’t…he’s Steffy’s husband,” Hope declared as she continued looking nervous.
At Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) mansion, Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) couldn’t believe how everything had changed for her overnight. Once Poppy gushed over living in this ginormous house, Bill reminded her that he wanted to take her on the yacht as well.
Poppy briefly wondered what life would’ve been like if she’d told Bill the truth about Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) sooner and they’d raised her together. Nevertheless, Poppy ultimately decided they should just focus on the future.
When Katie Logan (Heather Tom) arrived, she interrupted Poppy and Bill’s kiss before suggesting congratulations were in order over the Luna updates. Katie didn’t get why Poppy denied that Luna was Bill’s daughter until now, but Bill said Poppy was afraid of her love for him.
Although Katie seemed to think it was awfully fast for Poppy to move in, Bill stood by the decision and put a protective arm around Poppy.
After talk turned to needing to break the news to Will Spencer (last played by Finnegan George), Bill once again gushed over having a daughter and praised Poppy for the family addition.
