The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Monday, August 26: Luna’s Icy Revelation, Bill’s New Bombshell, Finn Freaks Out

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, August 26, 2024 is finally in! On Monday’s episode, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wakes up in a cage. Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) admits to killing two men and framing her mother.

Plus, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) freaks out to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Drilling Session

On Monday, August 26, B&B showed darkness with just the sound of drilling. A few bolts are heard dropping. Then, the camera starts to fade in some light, which shows the outer edges of the cage.

Steffy is inside the cage, lying on her side in a caramel colored suit. The suit matches the cage decor. Luna is busy drilling away.

Steffy starts to wake up, her hand goes to the side of her temple. Steffy’s vision is fading in and out.

Steffy rolls over and goes back to sleep and Luna clicks the padlock shut. Luna doesn’t look like she feels bad about this at all.

Finn is in the CEO office at Forrester Creations. Finn is ranting about Steffy going MIA.

Finn tells Ridge and Brooke that Steffy asked him not to contact her and she’ll be in touch. Finn says it’s not a good feeling not knowing where your wife is.

Luna is still drilling. Steffy starts stirring again. Steffy is confused and peers at the drill a few minutes before falling asleep again.

B&B Recap: Katie Logan’s Support

Katie Logan (Heather Tom) wants to be there for Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Bill tells Katie that he’s giving Luna his full support as she’s lost everything.

Katie is confused as Luna still has RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) and the job at Forrester Creations. Katie brings up all the people who care about Luna.

Katie also reminds Bill that if Penelope “Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) is guilty, the girl will need to visit her mother in prison.

Bill cuts Katie off and reasons someone else could have committed the murders.

Katie wants to know who as Poppy had opportunity and motive. Katie also says Poppy was desperate to hold onto her life with Bill.

Bill says the Poppy that he knew, that he thought he knew… then he stops. Katie wants to know if Poppy is out of his life now.

Bill says that he’s still processing all of this and hasn’t made any decisions yet. Bill is taking things one step at a time.

Katie offers to speak to Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) about him no longer having a sister.

Bill wishes Luna did have a brother to support her through this. Bill says Luna is the innocent victim in all of this.

Finn explains he had to tell Steffy about the kiss. Finn knows that secrets destroy marriages and he wasn’t going to let that happen to his relationship.

Finn says he will always be honest with Steffy. Finn then talks about how Steffy warned him to stay away from Hope but he didn’t listen.

Finn slams himself for giving everyone the benefit of the doubt. Brooke says that Hope isn’t usually like this.

Normally, Hope doesn’t go around kissing married men, Brooke insists. Finn vents over how Hope confused friendship and fantasy.

Finn is pretty ticked off and he’s getting madder each minute. Finn says he never sent mixed signals with Hope, but now he doesn’t know if Steffy is even okay.

Steffy wakes up again. This time, she sits up as far as she can in that cage – and looks around. Steffy sees Luna through the cage bars.

At first, Steffy asks Luna for help. Luna doesn’t say anything or move. Steffy asks where she is and what happened.

The cage is in the middle of the living room of the apartment, like it’s a piece of furniture. Luna doesn’t even stash her victim in a bedroom or closet, wow!

As Steffy slowly blinks, Luna paces back and forth, glaring down at the cage. Luna still isn’t saying anything. This definitely adds to the creepy vibe.

Bill Spencer’s Vow
The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, August 26 reveals that Bill thinks Luna is handling the situation well even though it’s just been a few days.

Katie credits Bill for that. Bill vows to be there for Luna. Bill says he invited Luna to stay there as long as she needs.

Katie says that can’t go on forever. Katie brings up RJ’s comment about Luna being there for Bill.

Katie brings up that RJ mentioned Luna really loves Bill. Bill flashes back to the kiss.

Finn tells Ridge and Brooke that Steffy is his world, his life. But Finn just keeps hurting her. Finn explains the kiss was the final straw for Steffy.

Ridge doesn’t understand. Finn says they’ve been dealing with a lot. Finn goes through the Sheila shenanigans and how he let her get too close.

Finn said the same thing happened with Hope. Brooke brings up that’s the kind of man Finn is.

Finn doesn’t like Steffy being gone and him not even knowing where she is. Ridge tries to reassure Finn, but he’s clearly frustrated over his decisions.

Steffy wants to know where she is. Luna says the building is about to crash down. Steffy holds her head as she tries to stand up in the cage.

Luna said the effects would wear off soon. Steffy soon realizes that she was drugged.

Steffy takes a minute before she realizes she’s locked in a cage and Luna is the villain. Steffy starts banging and screaming, begging to be let out.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Monday, August 26, 2024

Bill and Katie are touching hands. Bill appreciates how much Katie cares. Bill calls her a guardian angel and so much more.

Katie talks about how many people love Bill. Katie admits that she loves Bill, too. They hug as tears fall down Katie’s cheeks.

Brooke and Ridge ask about the kids. They are covered, Finn says.

Ridge tells Finn to give it a few days and if there’s still no word from Steffy, then they’ll do something.

Finn once again says he didn’t even kiss Hope back as he’s committed to Steffy.

Finn loves his family and what they’ve bild. Ridge puts his arm around Brookes’ waist as Finn continues talking.

Finn wants Steffy to come home. Steffy wants their life back pre-Sheila and pre-Hope. Finn just needs to know that Steffy is okay.

Steffy demands to know what Luna is doing. Steffy recalls Luna kissing Bill. Steffy says Bill is family to her.

Luna suddenly loses control and says her mother is in jail for killing two men. Luna says her whole world collapsed and Bill was there for her.

Steffy retorts back, “That’s how you show gratitude? By kissing him?!”

Luna brings up that Steffy said they are no longer related and are adults. We don’t remember Steffy saying exactly that, but okay Luna.

Steffy reminds Luna that Bill is with her mother. Luna says not for long… not when a jury convicts her.

Steffy is horrified over Luna putting her own mother in prison so she can be with a man. Steffy’s mind is blown. Mine is as well.

Steffy keeps ranting and yelling about how Luna isn’t going to get away with it. Luna yells back, “I’ve gotten away with it so far!” Luna says, “I killed both Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W.Chambers) and that deadbeat Tom [Starr, Clint Howard]… and you are not telling a soul.””
