Days of Our Lives fans saw a twist as Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) left Salem last week. But Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) is set to stay in the NBC soap opera. Speculation is rife about her next romantic pairing.
Some potential suitors include Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), who is currently engaged to Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien). But he could find himself single soon due to Theresa’s manipulative actions. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), Ava’s ex-lover, is another possibility. This is despite his ongoing relationship with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu). Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), known for his attraction to scheming women, could also be a contender on DOOL.
Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), who recently left town, is another name in the mix. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), Ava’s arch-nemesis, could turn out to be an intriguing match, given the classic soap opera trope of turning from hate to love.
Lastly, there’s a slight possibility of Joey Johnson, who remains off-screen for now, reentering the picture, which would certainly add an interesting dynamic considering their past history.
