Fame can sometimes come at a steep cost, and Days of Our Lives star Jessica Serfaty just got a sneak peek of that cost. The actress was recently in the news for making abuse allegations at her fiancé Leonardo Del Vecchio. She claimed that he had struck her. However, she later retracted her report.
The actress has once again made headlines for another scary experience. Recently, Jessica realized that her iPhone pinged with an AirTag notification. This caught her completely off-guard because she did not install any search device in her Range Rover. For the unversed, AirTag is an Apple product designed to be strapped with keys or other small items, that can then be located through the tag’s tracker if lost.
However, the tracking device is specifically designed not to be used to track people. The device sends the person’s iPhone a notification if it stays connected to the device for too long. That’s exactly what happened in Jessica Serfaty’s case. However, when the sheriff’s deputies searched the car, they couldn’t retrieve the device.
It is unclear if the AirTag fell off or if someone removed it from the car. At this point, it is also unclear what the person’s intentions were, it could have been stalking, burglary, or car theft. All, pretty scary to be honest. Thus, the incident has left the Days of Our Lives star terrified as she now fears that she is being stalked by an unidentified person.
