Jophielle Love Spotted on a Double Date with Easton & Budig!
It was a fun-filled Sunday for Jophielle Love, who plays Violet on General Hospital! She reunited with her former onscreen parents, Michael Easton (Finn) and Rebecca Budig (Hayden). Love shared sweet moments from their double date on social media. Their reunion soon brought a wave of nostalgia for fans who adored their onscreen family dynamics. Check it out below.
All About Love’s Double Date Magic!
The General Hospital star wrote, “Double date Sunday…Always big smiles when we are together!” And boy, did they look so adorable! Moreover, Rebecca Budig also commented on Love’s post, expressing her affection for the young actress. She penned, “Always love seeing you, sweet Jojo. You are growing into the most beautiful girl inside and out.”
This isn’t Jophielle’s first meeting with her former co-stars offscreen. Still, seeing their bond extend beyond the set is heartwarming. Michael Easton, who recently left the ABC soap as Dr. Hamilton Finn, seemed to enjoy the reunion just as much. Meanwhile, Budig has taken on a new role on the Y&R’s sister soap. She walked into the shoes of Dr. Taylor Hayes on The Bold and the Beautiful.
She began playing the role in August and has been rocking it ever since. Although Easton has left his role on GH, Jophielle Love continues to appear on the show as Violet Finn. Interestingly, many fans can’t help but wonder what this means for Violet’s storyline, given that Finn is no longer around. On the soap, Finn’s character recently landed at rehab to deal with his alcohol issues.
Additionally, it leaves Violet in the care of Harrison Chase and Brook Lynn. While they’ve been doing their best to care for Violet, it’s clear she misses her dad. Chase also mentioned Finn’s expected release from rehab in about a month. Subsequently, it raised questions about whether Michael Easton’s departure is permanent.
Last week, Michael talked about his final scenes as Hamilton Finn, reflecting on the emotional journey his character went through. The GH actor described filming Finn’s downward spiral as a “raw” and intense experience. Though he was taken aback by the show’s decision to write Finn out, Easton seems to handle it well now.
