In the Quartermaine kitchen, Michael and Ned are arguing over Valentin being on the run. Ned says he’s got people on it. Michael believes they need to lock ELQ down so Valentin can’t use their money to fund his criminal activities.

NEd and Michael's argument GH

Willow and Lois try to calm the men down, but they keep taking digs at one another. Michael says this wouldn’t be an issue if Ned hadn’t sided with Valentin originally. Ned fires back, saying that if Sonny hadn’t come for a visit the other night, Cates might still be alive.

NEd can handle it GH

Willow and Lois again suggest they calm down. Michael still wants to focus on getting Valentin out of ELQ and their lives. Ned says he has the lawyers making sure Valentin can’t make any stock transactions. He tells Michael to stay out of his way and let him do what he does best. Michael snipes, “What, betray our family?” Willow suggests she and Michael could use a night out, so they depart.

NEd and Michael fight GH

Lois tells Ned, “Way to clear the room.” Ned fumes over the fact that Michael has the worst of parts of Sonny, Carly and AJ. Lois wishes he and Michael could get along, and Sonny will always be a part of his life through Michael. She thinks he needs to drop his hatred for Sonny, as it does him no good. She reminds him that as Eddie last year, he didn’t push Sonny away, and Sonny looked out for him. Ned asks why his accepting Sonny matters to her.

Lois calls out Ned GH

Gio arrives, and Lois tells Ned that being peaceful with Sonny will at least make things easier for Gio. Ned isn’t sure he can trust this new, no-accent Lois. She’s lost what made her Lois. Gio tells Ned that is harsh, but Ned notes that the truth sometimes is. Ned walks out.

NEd calls out Lois GH

Gio checks on Lois. She says she is okay. He says he’ll always have her back but admits he misses the Lois who took him to his first punk show. Lois loses her accent and tells Gio that Sonny took her to her first punk show. Gio says he can’t see Ned at a punk show, but Lois defends him as a good guy who is just stressed. Gio asks about Ned’s beef with Sonny. Lois says it’s too much to get into. Gio can’t help but notice many people have issues with Sonny, but he’s always been so nice to him, so it’s hard to believe. Lois tells him, “Believe it.” She says he’ll hear a lot of rumors about Sonny, and many are based in fact. However, Sonny is also the most generous, reliable, and loyal friend one can have. Gio says he’s heard some bad things about Ned, too. Lois says Sonny and Ned are more alike than they want to admit.

Drew and Nina get a table, and Portia notes to Curtis that Nina and Drew seem close. She brings up the Tokyo deal and sees things are going well at Aurora for him. However, she admits she’s heard horror stories about the epic Quartermaine fights. She thinks he should have an exit plan in place. He tells her not to worry, as things are only going up from here for him and their family.

Curtis says it will all work out GH

At their table, Drew is chipper because he’s up in the polls. Nina says the election is still close, and he needs to focus on the campaign. She thinks it’s time he turns over the reins at Aurora.

Drew gets advice fom Nina GH

Drew takes Curtis aside to talk, leaving Nina and Portia to chat. Portia had no idea Nina was into politics. Nina admits she wasn’t until Drew. She began to see Drew in a new light when McConkey saw something in him. Plus, Drew saved his daughter’s life.

Meanwhile, Drew tells Curtis he needs to step away from Aurora to focus on his campaign and is naming him acting CEO. Curtis accepts his new position but wonders why he hasn’t asked Michael. Drew says Michael’s attention is required elsewhere right now.

Drew offers Curtis a job GH

Michael and Willow arrive, and Nneka has a table for them unless they want to sit with her family. They see Nina, and then Willow spots Drew.

Michael and Willow arrive GH

Michael and Willow chat with Nina and Portia, until Portia leaves to find her husband. Willow asks about Nina being here with Drew. Nina explains she is accompanying him in the final stretch of his campaign, and she considers it a small favor to help him get to DC.

Michael Nina Willow Portia chat GH

Willow excuses herself to freshen up. She runs into Nneka near the ladies’ room and tells her that she’s not feeling well and is going to head home, so she wants her to please let Michael know. Drew overhears and says he can tell Michael.

Drew calms down Willow GH

Alone, Drew asks Willow if she’s okay, as she seemed to bolt when she saw him. Willow says she wanted to go out with Michael to get away from their troubles, and now here he is. She needs to go, but he tells her if they can’t be around one another, it will draw the attention of others to a problem that doesn’t exist. He insists nothing will ever happen between them.

Meanwhile, Nina tells Michael that she advised Drew to hand over Aurora so he can focus on the election, and he seems like the natural choice.

Drew heads back to the club and bumps into Michael. Michael tells him about his conversation with Nina, and how he’s ready to step up at Aurora. Drew appreciates that, but he’s asked Curtis to be the acting CEO. He felt Michael’s focus was better spent on the situation with ELQ and getting it back under family control. Michael understands and agrees. Elsewhere, Curtis and Portia celebrate his promotion, and he says if Drew’s campaign goes well, the CEO position could become permanent.

Willow heads back to the club and runs into Nina. Nina sees something is wrong, and asks if it is Drew. Willow assures her it’s not Drew, and there is nothing there.

In Africa, Sidwell’s guards dump a beaten Lucky in a cell. They say now they’ll have peace and quiet until he wakes up. That is, if he wakes up.

Lucky beaten GH

Lucky comes to and imagines Liz taking care of him. He realizes he must be worse off than he realized. Liz diagnoses him with a concussion, says he’ll need stitches, and likely has internal injuries. She asks Lucky what happened to him. Why has he been running from his family for years? She warns him he’s run as far as he can, to the edge of his grave, so now what?

Liz Lucky Message

Lucky tells her that running away from her was the hardest thing he’s ever done. He thinks about her and their family all the time. Liz tells him that Aiden is doing great but misses him. Lucky says he misses him too, but he couldn’t be the father he deserves, so he had to leave. He says helping people here was the only way he knew how to atone. She isn’t buying it and calls him too much of a coward to face his family as anything but a hero. Lucky tells her she’s so much better than he is, and he can’t live with seeing a flicker of disappointment in her eyes. Liz says, “So you decided for all of us, and no one else gets a say.” Lucky cries he’s sorry. Liz tells him to come home, to have the guts to admit he messed up. Lucky asks if she thinks he can. She strokes his head and tells him that only he can answer that. She asks, “Are you brave enough to come back to your family?”

Lucky Liz talk GH

Later, Lucky wakes up. Liz appears to have been a dream. However, he refuses to die like this, reaches into his pocket and pulls out a switchblade. He heads to the cell door, picks himself up, and works to pick the lock.

At the club, Holly catches Anna with Sidwell’s phone and calls her a thief who has been caught red-handed.  She threatens to turn her over to Sidwell. Anna says she could tell Sidwell who she is, so just let her copy this phone. Holly wants nothing to do with whatever she, Jason, and the WSB are up to. Anna informs her, “This isn’t for the WSB. It’s for Luke.”

Holly catches Anna GH

Anna explains Lulu’s situation to Holly, and she and Jason have come to find Lucky — if he’s still alive. Holly admits he was still alive and in Sidwell’s compound as of yesterday. She hasn’t been able to help him yet. She explains that Sidwell has guards all around him, and his password to get into the compound changes daily, so they won’t get in. Anna tells her this needs to be an inside job, then.

At the poker table, Jason loses to Sidwell. Sidwell is ready to call it a night, but Jason says their night isn’t over.  He accuses Sidwell of cheating, revealing that the woman beside him has cards up her sleeve. Sidwell notes he doesn’t know that woman, so Jason suggests a new deck, and they start fresh.

Sidwell cheating GH

They play another hand, and Sidwell loses. Sidwell fumes and Holly returns to him and says his good luck charm is back. Anna talks to Jason and tells him to keep winning, as Sidwell likely will invite them back to his camp to continue playing.

Jason and Sidwell gamble GH

Meanwhile, Holly pushes Sidwell not to give up and to think of their guest, who would have a laugh at him turning his tail and running from another player. Eventually, Sidwell is persuaded to play one more hand with Jason. The women watch, and Sidwell is out of cash, so he puts up a diamond bracelet. Anna notes it’s beautiful and asks Jason to win it for her.

Jason wins, and Sidwell leaves the table in a huff. Jason warns Anna this isn’t getting them closer to Lucky. She tells him to wait. Meanwhile, Holly wants her bracelet back and tells Sidwell to invite them to the camp to win it back.

A man approaches Sidwell to inform him that he overheard his competitor’s girlfriend having a conversation with his girlfriend.

Later, Sidwell tells Jason he is the second-best player he ever met, and the first is back at his camp. Sidwell and Holly invite them back to the camp, and Anna and Jason accept. Sidwell says his driver will take them to their hotel to get their things, and they’ll see them later.

Anna and Jason leave, and Holly tells Sidwell that Jason’s good luck streak will end eventually. Sidwell tells her that it wasn’t luck and that there is more to those two than they are letting on. He promises she’ll get her bracelet back, and Jason and Anna will get what they deserve for lying to him. Holly appears concerned.

Next on General Hospital, Brennan tells Carly that there is more to him than what she sees, and Portia is upset with Terry that she wasn’t informed that Brad has returned.
