Cody Bell’s Big Lie on General Hospital
A while back on GH, Mac Scorpio thought Cody Bell might be his son. So, they did a paternity test. However, Cody was hoping Leopold Taub was his biological father because he was filthy rich. Back then, he was new to Port Charles and looking for a quick payoff.
He was hoping to inherit the Ice Princess necklace that belonged to Leopold. So, when the paternity results came in, he lied to Mac and his wife, Felicia Scorpio, saying that Mac was not his father. The PCPD Detective took Cody as his word and didn’t read the results for himself.
At first, Cody thought he was doing the right thing for himself on General Hospital. But the longer he stays in Port Charles and gets to know Mac and the Scorpio family, the more he likes them and wants to be a part of the family.
Plus, he’s getting much closer to Sasha Gilmore. And she is encouraging him to tell everyone the truth and embrace his family. No doubt, he’s afraid that when Mac learns the truth he’ll be furious and want nothing to do with him. But, he may soon take the chance…

Currently, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is getting closer to revealing that he’s Mac Scorpio‘s (John J. York) son. He and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) are closer than ever. And she thinks that Mac might surprise him and be accepting right away.
She wants him to have the family he longs for on General Hospital. Plus, she believes he and Mac deserve to have each other in their lives. Plus, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is also encouraging Cody to come forward with the truth.
Official spoilers confirm that Mac pays Cody a visit soon. So, he might take that opportunity to come clean and the big reveal could be coming soon. However, Mac’s reaction may be just what Cody is afraid of…
General Hospital Prediction: Lives Upended – John J. York Teases Chaos
Right before his big return, John J. York mentioned that it’s all going to “hit the fan” soon. So, Mac could very well be as furious with Cody as he fears. There’s a good chance he’ll be livid that he pretended to be Leopold Taub’s (Chip Lucia) just for the money.
No doubt, he will be hurt and angry. But, chances are, he will eventually calm down and embrace the cowboy as his son. After all, he was hoping that Cody would turn out to be his long-lost son. Then, he was let down when the test came back “negative” at General Hospital.
