General Hospital predictions suspect Trina Robinson will move on from Spencer Cassadine though he will always be in her heart. And soon, she may begin a new romance with Port Charles newcomer, Giovanni Palmieri on the ABC soap opera.
Trina Robinson’s Tragic Loss on General Hospital
Currently, on GH, Trina Robinson is still grieving Spencer Cassadine. No doubt, Spencer and Trina were on top of the world. They were deeply in love and starting a new chapter together in Paris. Indeed, they had a bright future together.
But sadly, Esme Prince cut that short. She found them in Paris and tried to kidnap Spencer to get her baby boy back. But when she tried to drug Trina, Spencer attacked her and they both went overboard leaving Trina devastated.
Now they are both believed to be dead. Of course, “Sprina” fans are hoping that Spencer will return and come back to Trina. However, it doesn’t look like he will be returning to General Hospital anytime soon.
Spencer Cassadine Not Coming Back to GH
Recently, it was confirmed that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is out for the foreseeable future. The Spencer actor announced that the GH showrunners have no plans to bring Spencer back onto the canvas. At least, not yet.
Nicholas’ acting career is booming. So, he’s working on other projects. That leaves Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) single and in need of romance on General Hospital. Of course, she’s still heartbroken over Spencer and won’t move on overnight.
But, it does look like the slow process of moving forward from her relationship with Spencer is beginning. She recently met the talented Giovanni Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and they hit it off right away.
General Hospital Prediction: New Romance Ahead for Trina
Recently, Trina met Gio at the Metro Court Pool. He’s the new pool attendant and he was chatting up Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) who is a lifeguard. She accidentally knocked him into the pool and Trina arrived just as he was getting out.
Joss introduced them but Trina was shaken because all she could see was Spencer. Indeed, it was like a replay of when Joss pushed Spencer into the water a couple of years back because he was annoying her.
So, Trina was a little frazzled but eventually relaxed and got to know Gio a little bit on General Hospital. It turns out that he’ll be joining them at PCU on a full scholarship. Joss filled Trina in on Gio’s violin skills.
Then, she offered him a gig playing at Ava Jerome‘s (Maura West) art gallery. After he asked if she would like his phone number, she looked pleasantly surprised and accepted. So, there certainly seem to be sparks between them.
Of course, Trina will not move on easily. Spencer was the great love of her life and she will always love and miss him. Indeed, it’s going to take time for her to be able to be with someone else. And if Gio wants a chance with her he will have to be patient.
Most likely, he will because Trina is amazing. While it won’t be easy, it appears that the wheels are in motion for Trina to find love again. Things are shaking up on GH. Don’t miss it to see if Gio becomes Trina Robinson’s new love on the ABC daytime drama.
