Chase has not had an easy few months on General Hospital. And that may be putting it mildly. Things started out amazing with his gorgeous wedding to Brook Lynn, but then in rapid succession, tragedy struck. Gregory passed away from ALS, Finn’s life fell apart as he descended into alcoholism and Chase and BLQ had to look after Violet once her dad left for treatment.

That’s… a lot for anyone to handle. But so far, Chase has been taking it all in with no small amount of grace.

In real life, Josh Swickard has had no less of a busy time, though for much happier reasons! “It has been an absolute whirlwind of a month,” he shared over on Instagram. “So many fun memories. So much I don’t want to forget. Lauren and I celebrated our 5th anniversary on the 6th. Lo, I love you. So much. 5 years later…. it’s better in every way. Thank you for agreeing to hitch your wagon to mine forever and ever and ever.”

The actor went on to share a series of adorable family photos, including of the happy couple’s two kids, daughter Savannah and son Arthur. Check them out below!

Swickard gave just a taste of his joyful life, including, as he put it, “All the farm life happiness (it’s actually just stress), Disney trip, amazing community hangs, and many dance parties after dinner. Hope everyone is having an amazing summer and enjoying each God given day (even in the loco times).”

We appreciate him sharing it all with us — especially in the crazy times we’re in right now. Sometimes it’s nice to just take a step back and appreciate the beauty and joy in our lives, even when it seems hectic and out of control.

Plus, we’ll never say no to adorable kid photos. So we here at Soaps.com want to wish the Swickards a happy anniversary as we hope everyone is having as great a summer as they clearly are!
