Holly Sutton Will Return
Based on recent updates, Emma Samms will return to play Holly Sutton in General Hospital. Holly, who was the ex-wife of Tristan Rogers’ Robert Scorpio, was created back in 1982. The Holly actress made her last appearance on the drama in 2023. As news of her return broke, fans couldn’t contain their excitement. We’ll see her back in Port Charles.
When she last left the show, she told SoapHub, “It was the perfect ending in as much that it wasn’t really an ending.” As the soap’s official team has decided to bring her back, her return might coincide with that of her onscreen son, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson). The 63-year-old television actress has returned to the screen multiple times in the past.

After joining the General Hospital cast in 1980, she soon moved on to two main nighttime soaps — Dynasty and The Colbys. In her last GH appearance, Holly reunited with Finola Hughes’ Anna and Scott to stop Charles Shaughnessy’s Victor from carrying out his grand scheme. However, this time, we don’t have any details about what her storyline will be. But don’t worry, as we think something interesting is on the way.
A “Loved One” Is Arriving In Port Charles
Meanwhile, “a loved one” will visit Maurice Benard’s Sonny this week. This person will come to support Sonny during his challenging time. There is a strong possibility that this character is Morgan. Bryan Craig, who previously played Sonny’s son, might return to support his father. GH executive producer Frank Valentini had hinted at the return of a major star beloved by fans.
Although there have been many guesses, nothing has been confirmed yet. If it is Craig, fans would be thrilled to see him back. Since the character died in 2016 after a blast threw him off a cliff, his return would be a shocking twist for everyone on the show. Rumors suggest the actor might only appear for just one episode.
