Double Twist: General Hospital’s Jason Just Saved [Spoiler]’s Life — And All But Guaranteed [Spoiler] Will Die!
What a difference a day — and a little bit of information — makes, especially in Port Charles. In the blink of an eye, everything changed thanks to the intel that General Hospital‘s Jason shared with his best friend/boss Sonny.
One minute, Sonny was plotting a potentially fatal revenge against Cates for having meddled with his meds. The next, he was refocusing his anger after receiving a news update not from Google, but rather Jason, who informed him that the person who’d actually done the tampering was none other than Valentin!
Now, it seems likely that Jason and Anna will be racing to find the missing Cassadine, but each for their own reasons. With Lulu seemingly getting worse by the day, Laura has asked the police commissioner to track down Valentin and Charlotte so the teen can see her mother for what might be the last time!
Of course, Sonny isn’t particularly interested in a Charlotte/Valentin/Lulu reunion so much as he is punishing the man who did so much damage to his life! While finding out that Cates wasn’t the person who tampered with his meds might at least slightly lessen Sonny’s desire for revenge, the animosity between the two men isn’t likely to fade away. For the moment, however, it seems probable that punishing Valentin will becoming his top priority. And by “punishing” we mean “eliminating!”
The ramifications of Jason’s confession to Sonny will echo across the canvas in the days ahead. But on a smaller scale, it will also have an impact on his friendship, if that’s what it’s become, with Anna. Despite typically operating from opposite sides of the fence, they’ve formed something of a bond since his most recent resurrection. But putting the ex for whom she still has feelings in the proverbial — and perhaps literal — line of fire may prove an insurmountable obstacle.
And let’s not forget Ava! Because while Sonny now knows that she was not the one messing with his pills, that doesn’t change the fact that they are in the midst of a custody battle… or her involvement in Kristina’s accident! Yet later this week, Avery’s mom and dad will come together so that he can make her an offer which might change everything!
