General Hospital Comings & Goings: Cyrus Renault Is Back!
GH comings and goings put Cyrus Renault back on the canvas recently and hopefully, it’s more than a one-time appearance. Recently, he resurfaced when his half-sister, Laura Spencer Collins, was visiting her, comatose daughter, Lulu Spencer, at the long-term care facility.
Laura hadn’t spoken to Cyrus in months and was appalled to see him at Lulu’s bedside. Apparently, he’s been visiting her for quite some time and Laura was furious that he didn’t tell her. Cyrus has been off-screen for months now. But hopefully, this’ll be the beginning of another long stint for him.
GH Casting Updates: Ric Lansing in Town
Along with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), General Hospital veteran, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), pops up this week. He returns to support his daughter, Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos), at her baby’s funeral.
He likely won’t be around long-term, but hopefully, his return isn’t too short. No doubt, there will be plenty of drama if he encounters his half-brother, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
There’s always been bad blood between them on General Hospital. Plus, Molly holds him partially responsible for her baby girl’s death. So, Ric might get on the bandwagon to take Sonny down.
General Hospital Casting News: Valentin Lured Out
GH casting changes also suspect Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will be on-screen again soon. Now, Sonny knows he is the one who messed with his bipolar medication. So, he wants to lure him out of hiding and make him pay.
And he plans to use Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) as bait on General Hospital. Also, Val’s daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), is in hiding with him. So, she will likely return also especially if her mom, Lulu Spencer (formerly Emme Rylan), wakes up.
Charlotte’s grandmother, Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis), got the terrible news that Lulu’s liver is failing. Perhaps, that will be the reason for her brother, Lucky Spencer‘s (Jonathan Jackson) return. He may come back to say goodbye to Lulu.
However, they will likely be able to save Lulu in the eleventh hour unless they decide to kill her off which seems unlikely. She is a fan-favorite so viewers would be livid. GH is on fire. Keep watching to see if Cyrus Renault sticks around for a while on the ABC daytime drama.
