SNL’s Sarah Sherman Guest Stars on GH

General Hospital Comings and Goings reveal that Sherman’s character makes her grand entrance on September 5. The comedian and actress sticks around for more action on Friday, September 6. Right away, she’ll ruffle some feathers with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). Olivia won’t like it when Robin critiques the way she says “croissant.”

However, Robin shows she knows her stuff by accurately guessing Olivia’s hometown, which is down to the neighborhood in Brooklyn. It leaves Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) quite impressed. And guess what? Robin’s antics don’t stop there! She’ll also cross paths with Ned (Wally Kurth) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).

Additionally, Sarah’s character is bound to bring some lighthearted moments to the usually dramatic household. Later on, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) will step in to reveal that Robin is actually the dialect coach. She hired her to help her shake off her Brooklyn accent. Lois thinks ditching the accent might boost her sales for Deception. So, she’s all in on becoming Robin’s new student.

GH/ Sherman is a longtime GH fan and couldn’t be more excited about landing a role.

In real life, Sherman is a longtime GH fan and couldn’t be more excited about landing a guest role. She told People she had a blast, especially since she got to work alongside soap legend Jane Elliot. Plus, Sarah even met the ABC soap veteran Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) on set. Now, if Lois succeeds in losing her signature accent is another story.

Will she decide the new voice is the way to go? Or might she realize her accent is part of her charm and stick with it? Either way, we can all expect some laughs as Robin Finch takes Lois under her wing. Keep an eye on Robin Finch’s adventures for some comical moments at the Q mansion.
