Summer really irked many fans with her constant anti-Claire behavior, recall The Young and The Restless Spoilers. But we have an eerie feeling that Summer is the one who is about to have the last laugh and throw a big “I told you so” in our faces. If you’re wondering why we say that, here’s the deal! Claire has a big secret, and we all were completely blind to it, until now!

When the character was first introduced she dressed so sleek and looked like a suave businesswoman. However, after her fall from evil, and rise to Grace..er..Newmans, her character did a total 180, including her dressing style. Saint Claire has taken her nanny role too seriously and started to channel Mary Poppins, even in her clothing choices.

But why the drastic change? Leaving behind your evil brainwashing does not call for leaving behind good taste in fashion! If you’ve been noticing this change too, then we may have a reasonable explanation for it! One, breaking out of Jordan’s clutches and having her whole reality upturned, snapped something inside Claire’s brain.

Thus, turning her into this sweeter than saccharin, naiver than a five year old human. Meaning, she has suffered a mental breakdown that no one is realizing. But are we going to be pushed into yet another mental health story so soon after Ashley Abbott’s similar ordeal with Dissociate Identity Disorder? We highly doubt it!

Hence, we move on to the second more likely and much more dramatic possibility! Claire is faking it all. The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that it could all boil down to an attempt to usurp the Newman moolah! Perhaps, Claire is not as saintly and naive as she appears. Maybe she is duping Victoria just to establish herself in the Newman family!
