The Young and the Restless Monday, September 30 Recap: Sharon Texts Heather Left GC – Cameron Wants 2nd Fatality

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, September 30, reveals that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will keep pushing Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to hire Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) at Abbott-Chancellor, but she’ll also question if Billy’s sure he wants to pass up a potential buyout offer.

However, Billy will insist on protecting Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) legacy and proving to everyone that he’s not a screw-up.

Phyllis will point out that Billy’s kids could be affected by his feud with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), but he’ll plan to get Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to pass along updates on what Victor’s planning.

Since Victoria wants to avoid this showdown for their children’s sake, Billy will think he can use that to his advantage.

Next on Monday’s Y&R episode, Daniel and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will come home from seeing a movie together. When Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) is nowhere to be found, Lucy and Daniel will wonder where she could be.

After Lucy suggests maybe Heather is off buying bananas for the peanut butter and banana sandwiches that she likes, she’ll help Daniel leave a playful voicemail for her mom.

At the cottage, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will talk to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) while Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) is asleep upstairs.

Sharon will admit she went to Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes) grave and confessed everything that’s happened since her daughter’s been gone.

Now Sharon will act like she’s ready to move beyond all the pain, anger and guilt of the past.

At one point, Heather’s phone will ring in Sharon’s bag due to Daniel trying to get in touch.

Mariah will wonder if that’s a new ringtone, but Sharon will claim it’s a reminder to take her meds and will pop a pill to back up her story.

Sharon will also insist she’s been in contact with her doctor and that her appointments are back on track.

We’ll see Sharon apologize profusely for scaring her loved ones, but she’ll act like she’s committed to staying on a better path now.

Mariah and Nick will still seem cautious, but they’ll be glad Sharon has returned and will finally head off to get some rest at their own homes.

That’ll leave Sharon alone to bicker with “Cameron Kirsten” (Linden Ashby) again. “Cameron” will praise Sharon for her performance and try to keep her calm about any future cover-up steps she’ll have to take.

Since Daniel and Lucy will be looking for an explanation, Sharon will send a text posing as Heather.

That text will claim Heather was more upset than she admitted about the Sharon situation, so “Heather” will insist she’s leaving town for a while and will reach out in a few days.

Daniel will text back urging Heather to call him, but Sharon won’t reply out of fear that she might tip Daniel off to trouble.

Daniel will also tell Lucy about “Heather’s” message, so she’ll blame herself and wonder if her mom left to punish her.

However, Daniel will suggest that if Lucy wants someone to blame, it should be Sharon.

Lucy will notice that Heather’s overnight bag is missing along with some clothes.

Daniel will realize Heather’s car was left behind, so he’ll speculate that maybe she took a car service to the airport.

Lucy will be freaking out over Heather potentially going as far as Lisbon and staying away for who knows how long.

Daniel, on the other hand, will stay strong for Lucy and hope that Heather will be back soon.

As for “Cameron” he’ll be impressed over Sharon’s quick thinking over Heather’s phone, which she blocked all location and tracking services on using an app.

Sharon will still worry since the police will eventually start an investigation into Heather’s disappearance. “Cameron” won’t think it’s an issue since Sharon covered her tracks and is the “queen of tears on demand.”

If Heather’s body washes up, “Cameron” will think Sharon can just turn on the waterworks and act like she’s so sad about what happened to that woman she barely knew.

Sharon will hope that maybe Daniel will leave town if he thinks Heather has left him, but “Cameron” won’t think that’s good enough since Cassie was robbed of living her life.

Since Sharon has already thrown the proverbial stone, “Cameron” will push her to kill two birds with it!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say “Cameron” will keep pushing Sharon to get rid of Daniel for good, so we’ll bring you predictions on her next move and all the stunning news to come.
