In the clip, The Young and the Restless diva answers the question, “What are your plans for the next five years?” She replied, “I’m gonna get hotter, weirder, richer, more terrifying and more unpredictable.” The video quickly gained traction, filled with fun and supportive comments. Meanwhile, the third user validated the star, “Hell yeah! But not sure you have the capability of getting hotter!” They added, “If you do, can you introduce me to your genie?” There’s no doubt that Stafford’s fans are as witty and lively as she is. Earlier, the Y&R vet suffered a mishap and posted a video of herself dancing on Instagram. She hopped on one leg and jokingly asked, “Who would like a bloodhound…?” Mind you, the highlight wasn’t her cute green sundress or the fact that she was barefoot.
Everybody noticed the fractured boot on her left foot. Though Michelle didn’t go into details, fans guessed her pet dog, Rufus, might have been involved. The following day, she posted another video with the hashtag “just a sprained ankle.” The clip showed how Stafford prepared her foot for a shower.
On Y&R, Michelle has played Phyllis Summers since her debut on October 18, 1994. Stafford initially played Phyllis until 1997, when Sandra Nelson took over. However, head writer Kay Alden rehired Stafford in 2000, but she left again in 2013 when Phyllis was put into a coma.
Furthermore, the soap actress returned in 2019 when Phyllis was introduced as a groupie of fictional rock singer Danny Romalotti. She claimed to have given birth to his child, Daniel, leading to Danny marrying her out of obligation. The move has sparked a long-running rivalry between Phyllis and Danny’s ex-wife, Christine Blair.
