The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has taken an incredibly smug turn lately, but his new attitude could backfire big time. Now that Kyle’s brimming with confidence, he’s probably going to make some risky moves that are far too bold!

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has given Kyle a job co-running Glissade with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), but it’s clear that there’s no trust involved here.

Y&R fans know Kyle is just being used as another way for Victor to get revenge on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

However, Victor has made his point now when it comes to his ability to snatch Kyle up and pit him against his father.

If Kyle doesn’t stay in line from now on, Victor will give him the boot without a second thought!

After all, Victor will still have Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) if he ultimately gets rid of Kyle.

That may be part of why Victor was so adamant about Audra staying on board.

Victor warned Kyle that he didn’t want to see any competition with Audra, but we all know how Kyle behaves when he thinks he’s the superior person for a company role.

Kyle sabotaged Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) at Jabot, so it’s easy to imagine him doing the same thing to Audra and landing on thin ice with Victor as a result.

Of course, Kyle could commit a far worse offense through all the custody drama that appears to be brewing with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).

Since Kyle has insisted there’ll be consequences if Summer doesn’t back off, it certainly sounds like he could try to strip her of any rights to Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell).

Does Kyle honestly think he can do that without provoking Victor’s wrath?

This seems like a situation where Victor could immediately strike back on Summer’s behalf and force Kyle out of his new Glissade position.

After all Kyle’s gloating and predictions about destroying Jabot, he may not even get the chance to go up against them!

If Kyle loses this Glissade gig over the Harrison custody feud, he may find himself at a low point with plenty of regrets.
