The Young and the Restless Tuesday, July 23 Spoilers: Nick Obsesses Over Sharon – Adam’s Close Call with Sally

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, July 23, reveal that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will push Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to trust her enough to open up. Since Sally hasn’t been able to get any real answers out of Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), she’ll urge Adam to come clean with her instead.

Adam will be tempted to make a full confession about Baltimore despite all his repeated warnings to Chelsea.

The thought of unburdening himself will be a relief to Adam in some ways, but it’ll be downright terrifying in others.

However, this will just be a close call in the end, so Adam may ultimately give Sally the same bogus story he gave Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Adam will probably lie that he blamed Chelsea during their Baltimore argument and created all this nervous energy.

Sally may express surprise and suggest that doesn’t sound like Adam at all since he’s been so supportive of Chelsea throughout this ordeal.

Although Sally may wonder if she’s getting the whole truth, Adam might get called away for a meeting.

In Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) office, he’ll indeed meet with Adam and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to discuss what the future holds. Once Nikki is done with her outpatient treatment, Victor will have a new job he wants her to tackle.

Instead of reclaiming the CEO seat at Newman Media, Victor will push Nikki to lead a company that’s almost as much of a juggernaut as Newman Enterprises. It’ll be a business that Victor is in the process of trying to obtain.

Based on our predictions and some hints in the spoilers for the week of July 22-26, there’s a good chance Victor intends to take over Abbott-Chancellor.

As for Adam, Victor will want his son to remain on the Newman Media throne, so he’ll offer updates on all this and act like it’s going to work out beautifully.

Other Y&R spoilers say Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will find himself obsessing over Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) mental state.

The more Nick thinks about Sharon’s unsettling behavior lately, the more concerned he’ll become.

Nick will no doubt check on Sharon again and make another attempt to gauge how she’s doing. Sharon’s med adjustments have been taking a toll, but is there even more going on here?

Regardless, Nick knows the risks of letting Sharon spiral out of control, so he’ll want to rescue her – even if she bites his head off for it or downplays her issues.

Unfortunately, Sharon will continue to head down a bad road, especially since she’s fixating on the loss of Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) and all her devastation.
