The Young and the Restless Stars Michael Damian and Lauralee Bell Open Up About Exciting Crossover Event!
The Young and the Restless fans are in for a treat! Michael Damian and Lauralee Bell are making an exciting appearance on The Bold & The Beautiful! Without giving too much away, let’s just say this crossover is part of Danny’s world tour. So, don’t forget to tune in on Tuesday, Aug. 13, and Wednesday, Aug. 14. It’s going to be an event you won’t want to miss! Dive in to know what Michael and Lauralee have to say.
Bell Promises Good Times Ahead!
The Young and the Restless stars’ enthusiasm for this special appearance is off the charts! Damian, aka Danny, shared how fans have taken their love for his character and Cricket to the next level. They created a virtual tour complete with a jet airplane logo. “It’s fantastic. They even have our own jet airplane with the logos.” Meanwhile, Bell had her own fun story to tell.
The Y&R actress laughed about a fan-made video showing Danny and Christine sightseeing in Paris during their storyline. “My old store partner said, ‘I’m so glad you were able to experience that beautiful city,’” She chuckled. “I didn’t want to be like, ‘No, it’s fake.’ I feel like we’re on tour as well.” How did the crossover idea come into being? It sparked from their Y&R scenes in Paris.
Brad, B&B’s head writer and executive producer, saw him and Bell in Paris and thought about it. He was like, “If they’re on tour, why not play LA?” Bell added, “He was trying to elevate a party he was planning, and this just made sense. Additionally, Bell revealed that the B&B showrunner called and asked Danny if he would sing at the party.
As for Michael, he was super pumped, especially because he had just finished a remix of “Rock On” for 2024. Damian said, “I’ve never performed it before, so why not debut it?” And that’s why we got our new rockstar! Furthermore, the scenes were filmed more like a music video than a typical soap opera. Plus, the handheld cameras just add to the vibe.
“We even had the Forresters join in on the chorus,” Damian spilled. Bell joined in the fun, “Everyone was so excited to do it.” Or maybe because it was their last day before the summer hiatus! While Lauralee has been on the sister soap before, this will be Michael’s first B&B appearance. But Bell promised, “It’s all smiles and good times.”
