The Young and the Restless Friday, August 16 Spoilers- Adam Fakes It with Sally, Billy Demands Answers, Victor Tests Audra & Kyle
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 16, reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will land in another tight spot due to Chelsea’s loose lips.
Chelsea already raised Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) suspicions by alluding to the guilt and mistakes she wanted to move past.
Now Chelsea has once again spilled too much, but she didn’t realize Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) were standing right behind her.
Chelsea told Adam that she’d rather Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) focus on them being a team instead of picking up on the “tension and guilt of that one night.”
Since Sally and Billy seemingly overheard Chelsea telling Adam that, they’re going to have questions.
This will only further reinforce Billy’s belief that something unrelated to Connor went down – something troubling that Chelsea and Adam have been keeping under wraps.
Billy obviously won’t want to say anything upsetting in front of Connor, but he’ll take a moment to corner Chelsea alone.
Y&R spoilers say Billy will demand answers about this “one night” and push Chelsea to just tell him the whole truth already!
At this point, it’d be ridiculous for Billy to avoid forming the obvious theory.
Anyone with a brain should be thinking Adam and Chelsea might’ve slept together in Baltimore, so will Billy flat-out ask if that’s what happened?
Whatever the case, Chelsea will have to decide whether she’s going to come clean or sell Billy a bogus story.
Adam will choose the latter with Sally, who’ll have questions of her own.
Although Adam will make excuses and fake that his relationship with Sally is fine, she may not be so sure.
The harder Adam tries to convince Sally that nothing’s wrong, the more she may fear Billy’s right to worry.
Over with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’ll put Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to the test.
Victor will deliver a new order that he expects Kyle and Audra to pull off together.
Since Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) is so stuck on the idea that Audra is a threat to Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell), will Victor challenge his co-CEOs to ease her mind?
That’s one option to consider, but it’s also possible Victor will have some business-related goal that he wants Kyle and Audra to tackle.
Our predictions suggest Victor will eventually have some new strategies that involve annihilating the competition, so stay tuned!
