The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Adam’s Big Lie – Denies Sleeping with Chelsea When Sally Asks Point-Blank?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may take the coward’s way out when Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) asks him something very specific.

Y&R’s weekly preview video shows Sally asking point-blank if Adam slept with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) in Baltimore. It’s a simple question, so Sally will expect a yes or no answer here.

Of course, all Sally’s doubts and suspicions have been building to this moment. You’d think this would be a good time for Adam to realize the jig is up and finally confess to making a mistake.

However, that may not be how it goes down if the latest Young and the Restless spoilers are any indication.

Although Chelsea will insist that they need to come clean to Sally and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Adam may tell Chelsea to just calm down and keep selling their cover story.

It’s obviously not working since Billy and Sally still haven’t accepted this flimsy excuse about playing the blame gave over Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) that night.

Even so, Adam won’t want to lose Sally over that evening’s passionate blunder, so he’ll probably urge Chelsea to just keep lying and assume he’s gotten through to her again.

It won’t turn out that way since Chelsea is truly at her breaking point when it comes to all this deception.

We’re about to see Chelsea crack under the pressure since she’ll make a stunning confession during the week of August 19-23.

That’s also when Sally will demand the truth from Adam and specifically ask if he hit the sheets with Chelsea during their Maryland trip.

Instead of choosing an honest path like Chelsea, Adam may swear that he was faithful and would never do something like that to Sally.

It’s easy to imagine Adam acting offended that Sally would even think such a thing and promising nothing scandalous happened.

Y&R spoilers say Adam’s going to take a firm stand after Sally’s push for the real story.

Adam will show off his stubborn side, so that makes it sound like he’s going to tell his most disgusting lie yet and insist he didn’t sleep with Chelsea in Baltimore.

That could naturally be a problem once Chelsea confesses to Billy.

Despite Chelsea’s attempts to keep Billy’s mouth shut, he may end up telling Sally the truth sooner or later.

Regardless, the fact that Adam’s lying is making the situation so much worse.

How could Sally even think about forgiving and trusting Adam after he’s behaved like this?

In the end, Sally may tell Adam that his deception was the real deal-breaker and what made it so there was no way to ever repair the damage.

Based on our predictions, Adam will have a lot to regret once Sally gets updates on what really happened behind closed doors.
