Eric Braden, also known as The Mustache, on The Young and The Restless, is a daytime star unparalleled. He has been a mainstay on the CBS sudser since he first debuted as Victor Newman in 1980. Seven short years after the conception of the soap. It is said that he accepted the role rather reluctantly, but when he came on, oh boy! there was no going back.
The man has been on Y&R for 44 years and still is the heaviest weight on the soap. Eric Braeden recently took to his official X account to share a video clip of him throwing a mad punch! Needless to say, his “moves” have stunned the entire fandom. The way he punches the bag shows what a strong and alive man he is.
No wonder he has conquered every difficulty and struggle life has thrown at him. In the recent past, Eric Braeden has overcome bladder cancer, and is still going strong. The video shows him working up a sweat as he smashes a punching bag with his mighty fist swings. Honestly, we are in awe of his strength and stamina. We wish him so much more power!
The Y&R fans flocked to the comments section to express their awe. “That is a great way to keep you in good health mentally and physically…oh you also [look] amazing keep up the punching,” A fan wrote in admiration of the 83-year-old star. Another fan pointed out that he remembers seeing pictures of Eric boxing, 30 years ago.
Furthermore, the fan pointed out that the star has maintained himself so well that there is barely any difference between then and now. Looking good. “Really enjoy seeing you on The Young and The Restless. You make ruthless look good, sir. Continued good health to you,” another one wished.
